Would you like to play a role in helping others on their mental health journey and normalise the subject of mental illnesses? Become one of our volunteers. With the help and dedication of our volunteers we have been able to help over 100K people so far.
As a volunteer you get to be part of our community, join break out sessions and team events.
I've been volunteering at LBTS for nearly a year now and the experience with the whole charity and team has been great. Everyone is supportive and caring, making you feel accepted and that your ideas really matter. What I like the most of it is that even with a small contribution I feel like I'm making a big difference, helping people speak up about mental health and getting more people involved with our initiatives.
There is a lot of freedom within LBTS and new ideas are always welcome, which keeps things interesting and exciting! I would recommend this experience to anyone looking for an internship or volunteering experience.
Let's break the shame is a great organisation that is committed to youth with mental problems. Making these problems open to discussion helps society to deal better with mental care. Volunteering for Let's break the shame is very satisfying, because I not only work on my own health, but also that of others.
This makes me feel bound to other young people who are going through the same thing. That's what makes this work so special.
